Manager - AADI Bowie
Manager - AADI Imaging Services Full-time M-F 8:00a.m. to 4:30p (Occ. Travel)
Supervises staff with daily work activities, schedules rotations, and participates in their selection, evaluation, and related staff activities. Ensures appropriate staff coverage for all shifts and areas. In consultation with the Director, takes or recommends appropriate disciplinary action as necessary.
Assists in on-the-job training of office staff, including orientation of new staff, and provides for cross training in order to assure quality care at all time. Participates in the development of the in-service program consistent with performance objectives and training needs of employees. Facilitates student clinical experience as needed.
Assures proper equipment maintenance and departmental inventory through ongoing monitoring and timely reporting. Ensures quality control testing of instruments and equipment, and appropriate documentation is maintained.
Functions as technical expert in the department. Performs all radiographic procedures within designated time frame and consistent with established quality standards and needs of the patient; assists radiologist as needed. Enters all pertinent patient information into the computer system upon completion of procedure.
Directs the flow of patients through the office, coordinating effective staffing and scheduling practices with the Director to the needs of the entity.
Assists in assuring the department is in compliance with all state, federal, Joint Commission, hospital and appropriate quality assurance documentation is performed.
Promotes department and organization improvement activities and refinement of operational systems. Identifies problem areas and recommends corrective action.
Adheres to budget through planning, implementing and evaluating productivity of human resources and efficiency of material resources.
Exhibits and monitors customer service and portrays quality.
Adheres to radiation safety/MR safety policies and procedures and follows radiation badge process.
Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology Educational program in an AMA approved educational institution. Three years full time in a Radiology department in a staff technologist position.
One year of leadership and management experience is required.
