Leading by example
We strive to be an equitable organization and a national model for Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI). When you become a Luminary, you’ll be part of a community that embraces your authentic self and empowers you to help build a more inclusive world.

Our values
Respect
How we treat each other matters. We collaborate, foster trust and demonstrate compassion, making each person feel like they matter.
Inclusion
Our humanity is enriched when everyone has a voice, and a diversity of perspectives is equitably represented.
Service
We work side-by-side with our community, patients and each other; dedicated to providing safe care to all in our community in an efficient and seamless way.
Excellence
We’re dedicated to delivering high quality, clinically expert care in an optimal way and setting the standard for innovation in everything we do.

The HEART Force
Our HEART Force is a diverse group of trustees, managers, medical staff, community stakeholders and public health partners. Together, this task force is evaluating our existing processes, policies and practices and developing a plan to build a more equitable and just health system. Their recommendations help us address inequities directly, intentionally and relentlessly in our daily work.
