Radiologic Technologist Graduate

Position Objective:

Provides Radiology exams on patients as described in Job descriptions and in accordance to the department standards. Works under the supervision of a Maryland Licensed Healthcare Professional (Radiology Technologist).

            Essential Job Duties:

1. Perform general radiographs in the department and portably
2. Operate all Radiology equipment after proper training and signed off by Radiology Technologist
3. Perform studies in the Operating rooms
4. Participate in all departmental training and continuing education sessions
5. Image according to As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA)

Educational/Experience Requirements:

            High School Diploma or equivalent

            Radiology Technology Student or Graduate from an accredited institution

Required License/Certifications

            Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR certification for Healthcare Providers required

            There is reasonable expectations that employees in this position will be expose to blood-borne pathogens
