Position Objective

Provides strategic leadership for the design, implementation, and administration of employee compensation programs across the Health System.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation Strategy & Design

Develops and maintains compensation philosophy and salary structure framework.
Oversees job evaluation, market pricing, and internal equity practices.
Leads annual compensation planning cycle.

Incentive Programs

Designs and administers incentive programs for leadership and operational roles (excluding physicians/APPs).
Evaluates program effectiveness and alignment with performance outcomes.

Market Competitiveness & Analytics

Conducts labor market benchmarking and pay equity analysis.
Provides compensation analytics to HR and executive leadership.

Compliance & Governance

Ensures compliance with wage and hour laws.
Establishes and governs compensation policies and pay practices to ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment with organizational strategy.
Maintains documentation and approval controls for compensation actions.
Participates in Labor Management meetings, and represents Human Recourses and Compensation in other organizational committees/meetings.

Leadership

Direct supervision of Compensation Analysts.
Serves as compensation subject matter expert to senior leaders.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree required.
8–12 years compensation experience.
Healthcare industry experience preferred.
CCP preferred.
