Position Objective:

Working under direction of Supervisor, responsible for daily operations and oversight of the retail shop, to include team member schedules, working the sales floor, preparing coffee drinks and ringing up purchases. Serves as lead to direct daily activities of staff, provide guidance as well as training/orientation.

Essential Job Duties:

  1. Responsible for working the sales floor, preparing drinks with a detailed knowledge of the products being served, restocking as necessary and general upkeep/cleanliness of prep area and sales floor.
  2. Takes the lead in training team members, ensuring that all policies and procedures are learned and consistently demonstrated.
  3. Assists with the cleaning, displaying and upkeep of merchandise in the gift shop.
  4. Assists with the tagging of merchandise to include reconciliation with shipment received and invoice.
  5. Assist with the research and buying of new products.
  6. Assist with the maintenance of POS/Inventory Management systems.
  7. Ability to track the sale of merchandise, and order in a timely manner.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

·         High School Diploma

·         One year of customer service experience

·         Retail experience preferred

Required License/Certifications: 

None

Working Conditions, Equipment, Physical Demands:

There is a reasonable expectation that employees in this position will not be exposed to blood-borne pathogens.

 

Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 20 lbs and perform repetitive movements involving POS register as well as stooping, bending and reaching in order to display  and/or retrieve products.

Pay Range
$17.50$22 USD
