Position Objective:
Owns tasks to completion once accepted. i.e. ball is always in my court. Executes tasks with a commitment to customer happiness and goals in mind; follow up happens. Demonstrates commitment to do what is required to care for customers, patients and peers. Collaborates with others effectively and contributes to positive morale and teamwork using cultural sensitivity; Builds strong, positive professional relationships with customers and coworkers. Manage complex relationships between our changes and downstream systems and workflows; Seeks out opportunities to expand depth of knowledge / understanding of systems supported (technical knowledge) and business processes (i.e SOPs).
Escalates issues appropriately with I intend to phrasing. Provides solutions, not problems.; Contributes to improving SOPs for issue, change and access management. Focuses on reliability as a way to improve patients and care givers lives by limiting negative impacts. Communicates effectively, sharing ideas in positive ways that build consensus. Able to articulate and support organizational and departmental goals (supports hard decisions); Maintains a detailed understanding of clinical / business operations and workflows.
Essential Job Duties:

- Serves as an imaging integration specialist. Imaging specific responsibilities are focused on dicom based imaging systems and processes using supporting technologies such as Epic Radiant, PACS and various modalities.
 - Acts as a liaison between information systems and the remainder of the organization. Translates business problems and opportunities into information requirements and system or workflow recommendations.
 - Functions as builder and project facilitator evaluating and acquiring resources necessary for the timely completion of related projects. Responsibilities include customer support, analysis, modification, programming, building and testing.
 - Able to work independently without significant oversight. Level II analysts have a focus on mostly independent project management and work efforts. Completes Position Objectives as stated in job description.
 
Educational/Experience Requirements:
Required Minimum Education. The minimum level of education for this position includes:
- Bachelors Degree or higher preferred
 
Required Minimum Experience:
- 3 years’ experience in information systems with appropriate client server application, programming or applications analysis or equivalent, such as business analysis.
 - Experience in information systems with client server application, programming or application analysis or equivalent may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to four years of the required education.
 - 1 year project management experience.
 
Required License/Certifications:
- Must obtain Epic certification in one or more modules within area of support (when appropriate)
 
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Strong working knowledge of application systems, PACS and analyst tools.
 
Working Conditions, Equipment, Physical Demands:
Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. May require extended or off schedule work hours during upgrades and go lives.
There is reasonable expectation that employees in this position will not be exposed to blood-borne pathogens.
