Position Summary:

Are you a creative mind with a passion for design, web development, and mission-driven work? We’re looking for a talented Graphic Designer and Website Developer to help tell the story of the Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center and Doctors Community Medical Center Foundations’ work in the community, and create a strong portfolio of marketing collateral, social media content, email templates, and website content to deliver outstanding results for our donors.

Reporting to the Manager of Special Giving at the Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center Foundation (AAMCF), the Luminis Health Fundraising Digital Marketing Specialist will have a system focus and is responsible for creating a wide suite of vibrant, strong, and compelling marketing tools including event invitations, campaign assets, marketing templates, and a wide range of digital and print materials for both Luminis Health foundations.

Essential Job Duties

1. The Luminis Health Fundraising Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing visually compelling graphics, web layouts, and materials that align with our organization's branding and marketing strategies
2. This position requires a strong understanding of design principles, user experience, and the ability to create engaging visuals that resonate with diverse audiences
3. Create compelling visual designs for marketing materials and other assets, both in print and digital
4. Work closely with event team to design and mange creation of event materials and signage to communicate impact, promote attendance, generate revenue, and steward sponsors and donors
5. Manage the Foundations’ email and web platform, developing a keen understanding of the various templates and functionality
6. Develop branding and marketing materials for a wide variety of projects in conjunction with the Foundation teams at Luminis Health
7. Collaborate with internal teams, including Luminis Health Marketing and Communications to understand brand standards, project requirements and translate them into high-quality designs
8. Experience in developing and maintaining brand identity guidelines to ensure consistency across all materials
9. Ensure all assets are optimized for various platforms (website, social media, paid ads, email marketing campaigns, presentations, etc.)
10. Manage social media presence- from strategy to content creation through execution for both Foundations and their events. 

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working in digital marketing and graphic design
• Proficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Sketch, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of web design principles, user experience (UX), and responsive design
• Well-developed organizational and prioritization skills; flexibility; attention to detail; and the ability to work both independently and with a team toward a common goal.
• An existing portfolio of digital and print content creation, including social media campaigns, websites, email marketing, and/or digital advertising.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills; initiative and follow-through; sound discretion and judgment.
