Student Intern
Collect phones from departments in coordination with dept supervisors or pull from inventory if stored somewhere
By following simple predefined steps, upgrade the phones from Android 11 to Android 13
Coordinate with the telephony team for voice capability activation for the collected set of phones (they will do those steps)
◼ Optionally, we may go to a dept, set up a station and collect and process the telephony on the phones there
QA check all phones using a predefined functionality checklist
Document and track all changes on the phones in tracking spreadsheet
Coordinate with training team if retraining is required or requested
Redeploy the phones to each department that they were collected from
A similar step-by-step process will be utilized with the deployment of the desk phones and softphones.
Knowledge and use of Excel, Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams, etc…
Knowledge of Android cellphones helpful; not required
Meticulous and accurate with documentation
Friendly, comfortable coordinating with unknown people (staff, dept managers)
Well organized, detailed and precise in communication
Good working with new or unfamiliar software when given a solid step-by-step procedure to follow and instructions
