Electronically bills third party payors, maintains payor edit masters, produces management reports and controls flow of claims processing data in a consistent conscientious manner. Works in partnership with supervisors and team leaders to identify, communicate and correct any issues which contribute to errors or non-compliance with payor regulation.

Actively adheres to regulatory and governmental agency requirements regarding billing and reimbursement; implements and remains current on regulatory updates and changes in a proactive manner.
Updates Premis electronic system, maintains related system dictionaries.
Collaborates with supervisor, team leaders and other departments in identification, research and resolution of claims edits and errors.
Initiates daily billing process and downloads according to department guidelines.
Produces all daily reports deemed necessary by management for the proper operations of the billing software and required billing audit trails.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Coursework in Business, Accounting and Systems preferred.
Numerical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in administration of electronic billing operation in UB92 billing, including Medicare.
Experience in preparing statistical and performance data to management. Ability to work independently and prioritize assignments.
Obtain CRCS Certification
